Condition reportWear throughout to age and use; 3 vials intact with fluid; cross-hairs disappear on focus; compass needle present; knobs turn and function; base shows 4 adjustable legs; name on compass face reads "W.& L.E. Gurley, Troy, N.Y."; accompanying tag shows "Brunson Instrument Co., Kansas City, Kansas"; box with crack through width of lid and missing right side leather strap.
