TWO RUSSIAN ICONS: the first hand painted on wood, St. George slaying the dragon, 7 3/4 in. by 12 1/8 in., with red wax seal and "early 15th century, Novgorod School, Tretyakov Gallery" (however, this appears to be a late 19th century work); plus a 20th century "St. Nicholas", 4 in. square, in raised silvered metal.
Condition report744: Painted icon shows some minor paint chipping/ loss; some craquelure; wear at edges; no other visible breaks, repairs, or losses.
