Empire mixed wood tall chest, rectangular top over desk drawer with birds eye maple recessed panel, opens to expose interior compartments and drawers, over three graduated long drawers with cockbeading and vaselilne glass drawer pulls, front scroll feet, recessed paneled sides, C. 1840, 48" high x 42" x 21 1/2", one back leg replaced, desk drawer lock needs repair, no other visible defects
