Geometric Hooked Rug, polychrome "crazy quilt" style variegated blocks on burlap backing, variegated block border, signed in pen on back corner "Mary Weidman Manheim, Pa.". Mary Weidman won 1st place with this rug, being the finest hooked run in the county. Having health problems, she was able to make one rug for every member of her family before her death. This rug was acquired from her son. 34"h. x 39"w., (good) with attached newspaper article.
