Nicely painted floral decorations and black leaf patterned borders with hand forged metal bindings, signed A.N.D. and dated 1873, 29"H x 54" x 22"D. The chest has minor paint flaking throughout and there are a few areas of wear on the metalware consistent with age and normal use. With key. The chest was made by a farmer in Northern Sweden.
