Early 20th C. Handmade Russian Brass & Walnut Box

Molded with a relief image of an ancient mounted Russian soldier, post battle, cover relief is signed: Mapkobz LR, has additional brass banding with leaf and fruit decorations, box measures 8-1/2" L x 5" W x 2-1/4" H. Minor wear, brass cover has turned dark, velvet liner inside lid is coming off, no other damage found.
