Jonas Weber(1810-1876),Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, magnificent painted pine dresser box dated 1847 and inscribed ''Sarah Weidman'', the front decorated with a house atop rolling hills with yellow trees, the lid and sides with stylized flowers, all on a black ground, 5 3/4'' h., 10 1/4'' w. One of the finest examples by Weber extant.
