PATTERN-MOLDED PANELED VASE, brilliant medium to deep amethyst, the body with 12 broad arch-top flutes below a short neck and rolled-over rim, the flutes extend over the kick-up base to a rough pontil mark. Traditionally attributed to America, probably New England . 1830-1860. 8 1/4" high, 5 1/4" diameter rim, 3 1/4" diameter base .
