ACANTHUS LEAF STAND LAMP, translucent starch blue above alabaster/clambroth with an overall lightly sanded surface, dome-top font with 12 protruding petals below the shoulder and a short hexagonal extension with 12 beads below, joined by a wafer to a 12-petal-top acanthus leaf standard and double-step square base beaded between the steps, brass fine-line collar and double-tube fluid burner with chains and caps. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1860. 11 3/8" high to top of collar, 4 1/8" square base.
