ACANTHUS LEAF STAND LAMP, colorless, dome-top font with 12 protruding petals below the shoulder and a short hexagonal extension with 12 beads below, joined by a wafer to a 12-petal-top acanthus leaf standard and double-step square base beaded between the steps, lacking collar. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1840-1860. 11" high, 4 1/8" square base.

Note: As pointed out by Barlow and Kaiser, colorless Acanthus Leaf lamps are much more rare than their colored counterparts
