PAIR OF LACY SOCKET AND QUATREFOIL BASE CANDLESTICKS, colorless, each Number 1 lacy socket joined by a single or double wafer to an eight-rib standard and five-step pointed quatrefoil base with prisms to interior. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1840. 6 3/4" high, 4" square bases.

Note: The seemingly familiar bases seen on this pair of sticks differs from the above references due to the pointed corners of their feet. In all of the illustrated examples of this base that I could locate, the feet appear to have rounded lower corners

Both in excellent condition, one with a small chip at inner rim of socket, both with a few flakes to lower step and much less than normal light chipping/mold roughness to the lower base and under base
