PAIR OF DOLPHIN SCALLOPED BASE CANDLESTICKS, deep brilliant sapphire blue, each 12-petal flower-form socket raised on a small dolphin standard and a low-step 16-scallop circular base with two pairs of concentric rings on the underside, single-piece construction. Probably Cape Cod Glass Works, possibly Mt. Washington Glass Works. 1855-1870. 6 1/4" high, 4" diameter bases.
