PAIR OF HEXAGONAL CANDLESTICKS, brilliant fiery opalescent, each over-sized hexagonal socket with a single-knop extension raised on a hexagonal standard with two rings at the top and one at the bottom, and a hexagonal base, one with original pewter cup insert. Single-piece construction with a horizontal mold line at stem just above the upper ring. Probably Midwestern. 1850-1870. 9 1/4" and 9 3/8" high, 4 1/2" diameter bases overall.
