CRUCIFIX CANDLESTICK, opal opaque with slight opalescence, thick-lipped hexagonal socket with a short extension joined by a wafer to a crucifix standard and raised on a tall stepped hexagonal base. Factory ground under base to level. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1840-1880. 11 1/2" high, 4 5/8" diameter base overall.
