FREE-BLOWN RING DECORATED FOOTED JUG, colorless with a slight gray cast, bulbous body with a boldly flared spout, single applied exterior triangular medial ring, and applied strap-type handle with a bold medial rib, raised on a bladed-knop stem and circular foot with rough pontil mark. Attributed to Thomas Cains' South Boston Flint Glass Works or his Phoenix Glass Works, South Boston, MA. 1825-1840. 8 3/8" high overall, 4 3/4" diameter rim, 4 1/2" diameter foot.
