LACY ACANTHUS LEAF AND SHIELD SUGAR BOWL WITH COVER, colorless, octagonal bowl with complex serrated rim and raised on a circular 25-scallop foot, cover with flori-form finial and patterns pressed on both the interior and exterior. Bowl exhibits a slight tilt as made. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co . 1835-1850. 5 5/8" high overall, 5 1/4" diameter rim overall, 2 3/4" diameter foot .

Above average for this rim having two interior chips and some light flaking, none of which disfigures the profile, foot with two chips and several flakes causing the partial loss of three scallops, cover with only a few flakes to the final and under the rim
