EARLY THUMBPRINT / ARGUS SALVER / CAKE STAND, colorless, plate with four rows of thumbprints and a 24-scallop rim, joined by a wafer to a hollow hexagonal stem and single-step circular foot. Bakewell, Pears & Co. 1850-1870. 5 1/2" high, 14 1/8" diameter rim, 5 1/4" diameter foot.

Undamaged except for a minute stem flake and normal light mold roughness to foot interior, much less than normal usage wear to the plate
