EARLY THUMBPRINT / ARGUS SMALL SALVER / FOOTED BUTTER, colorless, plate with turned-up rim and three rows of thumbprints, raised on a short ribbed stem and circular foot with nine petals on top, single-piece construction. Bakewell, Pears & Co . 1850-1870. 3" high, 7 5/8" diameter rim, 3 7/8" diameter foot .
