EARLY THUMBPRINT / ARGUS NAPPIE ON STAND, colorless, shallow bowl with 32 even scallops, joined by a wafer to a 12-flute double-step hollow standard and a 24-scallop circular foot with a single row of 24 thumbprints underneath. Probably Bakewell, Pears & Co . 1850-1880. 4 1/4" high, 6 1/4" diameter rim, 3 7/8" diameter foot .
Provenance: The Duff & Molly Allen Collection. Skinner, Inc., 6/17/94, lot #516 (partial)

Undamaged except for a couple minute nicks to the foot
