EARLY THUMBPRINT / ARGUS DISHES, LOT OF TWO, colorless, both with three rows of thumbprints and a 24-scallop rim, the first of oblong form with a 12-point star base, the second of circular form with concentric rings and polished pontil mark under base. Bakewell, Pears & Co. and others . 1850-1880. 1 3/4" high, 7 1/8" x 10", and 2" high, 8" diameter.
