BLOWN AND ENGRAVED WHISKEY JUG, colorless, chestnut form with polished flat sides, panel-cut neck, tooled lip, and applied handle, engraved decorations of foliate wreaths and stars, additionally engraved "Whiskey" and "J.G.K" on sides, polished pontil mark, original flat disk stopper engraved with a matching wreath. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co . 1865-1887. 8 3/4" high overall, 5 3/4" diameter overall .

In the photo, what appears to be a crack at the top of the handle is actually only a slightly pinched tool mark on the front and back of the handle. This does not have the appearance of a crack when the jug is seen in person
