COW AND WHEAT BUTTER DISH, opaque white/milk glass, well molded design, cover having four panels with wheat surrounding a recumbent cow finial, base with wheat-filled flange, ribbed underneath, with three feet. Probably English. Fourth quarter 19th century. 5 1/8" h overall, 7 1/4" dia.

Condition reportVery good overall condition, cover with area of shallow open bubbles partially surrounding finial, a rim check and normal minor rim roughness, base with minor imperfection to cover seat, two scallops with flakes to top, one beneath, and some flaking to ribs under base
