HATCH PATENTED PEAR INKWELL, opaque white/milk glass with satin finish, top molded with a pear and leaves, and a hole at one side, on a circular base embossed "G. E. HATCH. PAT'D DEC. 27. 1875." around the side, cut and shut scar under base. Probably New England Glass Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 2 1/2" h, 3 3/4" dia base.
