LION ON CASTLE BASE COVERED DISH, frosted and colorless, rampant lion cover embossed with stonework design underneath, turret and crown base with notched rim and raised on a collared foot, cover and base embossed "DEPOSE". French. Late 19th/early 20th century. 7 1/2" h overall, 5 3/8" dia rim.
