John Hancock) (1737-1793) Patriot. Hancock was Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Massachusetts. 17 ½" x 25 ¼" printed broadside, July 16, 1783, in Latin with "Johnni Hancock, Armigero, Gubernatori" at the top, printed in Boston by Thomas Fleet for Harvard University. The broadside details the curriculum offered at the University. Artemas Ward and Tobias Lear are among the graduates of Harvard listed. Some paper loss in the folds, archivally silked on the reverse side.
