Lambert Automaton Child with Jumeau Head

France, ca. 1885, bisque flange head stamped Depose/Tete Jumeau, brown paperweight eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, original blonde mohair wig with cork pate and composition arms. Wearing original satin and lace dress with matching shoes. Standing on velvet covered base containing brass musical clockwork mechanism. This lovely child gently turns her head, then raises her right arm and pats her face, while moving her left arms slightly. 18" H. Very Good - Excellent (some deterioration to satin, missing powder puff and mirror).
