France, ca. 1890, Jumeau bisque socket head incised F, brown glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes, closed mouth, pierced ears, brown wig over kid with cork pate, bisque hands holding a floral painted wood guitar. Wearing original velvet and silk traditional Spanish costume with hat. Standing on a velvet covered base containing musical clockwork mechanism. When operated the figure moves head up, down, left and right, while strumming his instrument. 16" H. Very Good (some wear to clothing, one chipped finger).
