Germany, ca. 1880, painted composition head with heavily molded features include fez, on a seated composition body with molded apron, articulated wood and composition arms with original cloth sleeves holding a metal mincing tool. The figure is seated at a butcher's table with molded faux minced meat and two molded composition faux meat pieces atop a paper covered wood box containing squeak mechanism and actuator. When operated the figure moves head left and right and gently moves mincing tool with arms. 10.25" H. Very Good - Excellent (two pieces of meat missing from table, knife tool string attachment disconnected, minor soiling and wear)
