England, ca. 1750, this lovely Queen Anne in remarkable untouched condition retains her original vivid coloring. Carved wooden head and torso with jointed wooden legs, gesso painted head, shoulders and hands, cloth upper arms with large carved forked hands, brown pupilless glass eyes, finely painted brows and lashes with nicely blushed cheeks and a human hair wig. Wearing original pink silk and lace dress with matching bonnet. Provenance: Estelle Winthrop Collection 16" H. Very Good (four finger tips missing)
