This Art Nouveau styled perfume decanter with a repeating diamond lattice effect repeats itself around the entire diameter of this wonderful cranberry and white cameo bottle by Thomas Webb. The mark on the base of this piece is shown in Hajdamach's BRITISH GLASS book on pg. 426 shows that is marking was used by Webb from 1889 - c. 1905. The mark was limited to cameo and burmese pieces. The piece is accented with a swirl crystal frosted stopper. This piece is a pattern match to the bulbous vase in auction lot #7071. Other than the slight surface stain on the bottom flat surface, we detect no other faults. BRITISH GLASS 1800-1914 by Charles Hajdamach, copyright 1991.
