EARLY VINTAGE DOMESTIC PEACHBLOW GLOSSY SCHOOL BE

Sign In to see what this sold for

This giant bell was reputed to be by Mt. Washington, but we have been unable to find it in any of the sketch or pattern books. Furthermore, Mt. Washington Peachblow items were invariably produced with the peach hue above graduating to the beautiful neutral muslin color beneath. We believe that it is more likely that this is a Rare & special display bell by either Gunderson or Pairpoint, still making it a unique showpiece. At 10 inches tall, it is a real stand alone. All it needs is an appropriate glass clapper. Mt. Washington Art Glass plus Webb Burmese / by Betty Sisk; Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass (Vol I) / by Kenneth M. Wilson; Pairpoint Glass / by Leonard Padgett; The Pairpoint Glass Story / by George Avila; The Essence of Pairpoint Fine Glassware 1918-1938 / by Marion and Sandra Frost; Peachblow Glass / By Sean & Johanna Billings -- part of a collection of art glass to be sold live on eBayLiveAuctions on Oct 5th at 1pm, Andy & Rob Collection.
