This is a spectacular late 19th century Custard etched cameo vase by Thomas Webb. It is an alluring baluster form with a pronounced collar base and rolled scalloped rim. The body is decorated in classic relief with continuous floral bell festoons, and a tasteful tan accenting to the ground. The arched acid mark to the base is the proper horseshoe Webb signature indicating completion in 1889. This treasure was originally purchased at Fieldings' Auction in England.
