This is as intricate a Victorian cameo as we have ever seen produced by Thomas Webb, and showing the influence of Thomas & George Woodall. The base sports a Persian theme surrounded by the ancient representation of Papyrus used by the Egyptians. Mid bowl appears to have an acanthus theme with the upper band showcasing a complicated swirling floral pattern. The bowl is properly signed internally, and emits a subtle glow under black light.
