This 'JUDY' of PUNCH & JUDY fame was made by John Derbyshire in 1875. The piece bears the proper Derbyshire 'anchor' logo in a raised pattern. The height is listed by the photographer as 7", and in Raymond Slack's book, height is listed at 6 1/4". This is green uranium glass and glows under a blacklight. These are seldom found and when they are, there is usually damage. We note only minor nicks to the piece. See auction lot 7215 for the matching PUNCH in clear glass!
