We have searched high and low for this vase's lineage, and the best that we can do is to attribute it to England ca. 1900 - 1910. Subsequent to Hobbs Brockunier marketing its spatter & spangle glasses ca. 1883 - 1884, several English firms embraced the style in cased form, and most of their efforts were the spatter with the mica inclusions as is this vase.
