Here is a match made in heaven as it were. The lovely ruby to amber hand blown glass insert is the spot op[tic pattern by New England Glass, and the holder is a spectacular pedestal base with floral handles in silver plate by the incomparable Pairpoint Mfg. Co. The two company histories overlapped for 8 years between 1880 and 1888, when New England moved to Toledo. This gorgeous collaboration is ca. 1885 - 1888.
