Jonathan Harris Studio Glass made an immediate impact from its beginning in 1992. Hand made in Ironbridge England, and located in the Coalport China Museum, Cameo and gr¿¿al, along with multi-layered ¿¿¿hot¿¿¿ surface decoration forms the core of Haris repertoire, enabling tremendous scope for color, shape and pattern. The first pieces of Gr¿¿al were produced using relatively simple patterns, which were drawn by hand onto the surface of the glass and then carved through the layers of color. The continued development of this process led to the refined and detailed designs that are produced today. Recent innovations include the use of 22ct gold and sterling silver leaf into the designs. This spectacular vase is a "UNIQUE TRIAL" piece ca. 2002 entitled Golden Coral Cauliflower, and features gold leaf and traditional Thomas Webb style foil in the collar base. This piece is truly 1 of 1. -- part of a collection of art glass to be sold live on eBayLiveAuctions on Oct 5th at 1pm, Andy & Rob Collection.
