This Powell wedding bell in STRAW OPAL (vaseline opalescent) is one of the smallest bells this researcher has ever seen! It has been suggested by other glass experts that this bell may have been carried by the flower girls or attendants during the Victorian wedding ceremony. Bells are usually approximately 12 inches, and this one is only 7 inches short! There are many micro bubbles in this glass, which is not unusual for Powell Straw Opal.
