This is one of the really neat depression era metal & glass combinations in the form of a Ser-Mor patented juice extractor. This is the prime and rare green Uranium base, that was likely manufactured by either U.S. Glass, Jeannette, or Anchor Hocking, all of whom produced green glass with Uranium. Author Mary Walker ("Reamers, More Reamers, & Many More Reamers") examined the piece and proclaimed it as Rare, since she was only familiar with this combination in clear crystal!!http://www.reamers.org/books.html.
