FRAMED AUTUMN LANDSCAPE. Depicting trees along the banks of a rocky stream under a blue white sky. Artist snd "W. Merritt Post" (William Merritt Post, 1856-1935, Connecticut/New York). 30"h. 40"w. Molded gilt frame. 36 3/8"h. 46 3/4"w.

The paint in the sky is cracking. There is paint loss throughout-- a few pieces that are missing are approx 3/4" d. Some smaller paint loss on the ground.
