Heading: steel-engraved frontispiece & added title after Maclise. First Edition, fourth state with sub-title in a scroll on the engraved title. (Smith Vol. II, 8Place Published: Sadleir 681). Bradbury & Evans, 1846. Together, 2 volumes. 6¼x4, both uniformly bound in recent full crushed green morocco, ruled in gilt, spines tooled and lettered in gilt, each with gilt-lettered red morocco spine label, raised bands, matching new endpapers, all edges gilt."
