Author: Hemingway, Ernest Description: [8], 355 pp. 9x6, original vellum-backed and tipped green boards, black morocco spine label lettered in gilt, pages largely unopened. Housed in a custom tan morocco-backed clamshell box, raised bands, black morocco labels, spine compartments ornately gilt. No. 287 of 510 total hand-numbered copies, only 500 of which were originally for sale. First Edition.Signed by Hemingway on the limitation page. A limitation of 10 copies for presentation was also produced, but were not originally issued for sale. Published simultaneously with the regular first trade edition. The only work by Hemingway to be issued in a signed limited edition format. Hanneman A8b.
