Shaw, signed by Shaw sent to Theodore Spicer-Simson Jr. (in Paris), in 1926; plus a typed letter signed with inscribed note to Spicer-Simson from St. John Ervine, dated July 15, 1922, both laid in, inside original mailing envelope mounted on rear free endpaper. The book is inscribed and signed by the author St. John Ervine to Theodore Spicer-Simson, dated Sept. 22, 1956, on the front free endpaper. Spicer-Simson (1871-1959) award-winning artist known for his sculptures of many world and literary figures of the first half of the 20th century. His work, letters and other related material now resides in the Archives and Special Collections Department of the University of Miami Library.
