Back of bisque socket head marked: "MASCOTTE J". Blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, mohair wig, cork pate, wood and composition body with jointed wrists, fragile antique clothes. Invisible repair to side of head. Condition reportCondition: Repair is nicely done. A "V" shaped piece from the rim to below the ear was reglued and head painted. It only shows from the inside. Torso and upper legs have been varnished, some wear/repair to body, neck socket of head has two small stable chips. Silk of dress is melting but the buckram lining could be used to remake the dress and hat. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports.
