HEINRICH HANDWERCK DOLL, 40".
Back of bisque socket head marked: "19 21 GERMANY H 9". Brown sleep eyes, pierced ears, mohair wig, signed Handwerck wood and composition body in excellent original finish, antique style clothes. Socket of head is stuck to the neck well of body. Clothing not completely removed.

Condition: Red artist mark on forehead. Missing teeth. The neck socket of the body has some repair and it is possible that they put the head on too soon and it stuck to the glue from the repair. No damage found with lighting or blacklighting. There are some cracks in the composition of the body. Nice bisque.
