FIVE FROZEN CHARLIES AND A STONE BISQUE.
Two pink tint dolls, 2" - 2 1/2" with early hairstyles, both with damage. Three black dolls, one with molded tunic, two with damage and a 2" bisque figure praying. They come with three notes of history. Condition reportCondition: Two inch pink tint doll has one broken arm, second one is missing both arms and the tip of his foot. He has brush stroked hair and a side part. The three black ones are 1 1/4" (no damage), 2" with molded short curly hair, (broken arm), and the one with molded tunic has a glued neck and one arm missing. Notes with dolls state: "3 or 4 dolls given to Grandpa A.C. Smith by a little girlfriend before he left Conn. (He was about 7 and was born 1847". "china dolls belonged to Grandpa Albert C. Smith. He brought them (3 colored dolls & another time china one from East Haven Conn about 1851. They were all given to him in a yellow china cradle by his little "girl friend" Ella Andrews." And" "Grandpa Albert Chidsey Smith brought these little china dolls from East Haven, Conn. in 1851-1852 to Perkins Ohio. His little girl friend, Ella Anderson, gave them to him as a parting gift - they had belonged to her - along with the little yellow china cradle, into which the dolls were carried."
