Title: Trials and Triumphs of an Orphan Girl : or the Biography of Mrs. Deiadamia Chase, Physician and Phrenologist
Author: L. M. Hammond Publisher: Van Slyck & Hitchcock Printing Year: 1859 Condition/Details: Bound in brown blindstamped cloth with gilt lettering on spine, this antique volume is a scarce biography and presentation of the practice of phrenology in earlier part of the eighteenth century. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 7.75" and contains 230 pages plus twenty-page appendix containing O. S. Fowler's "Synopsis of Phrenology".
