Condition/Details: Bound in handsome maroon cloth boards with gilt embossing, this rare volume discusses the fine violins made throughout the centuries in Belgium and Holland. The work is profusely illustrated with photographs of violins and their markings. The volume shows very light external wear, and is solidly bound with near-pristine text pages and photographic plates. The book is stamped number 1072 of an edition of 1500 on the limitation notice page. The book measures approximately 8" x 10.5" and contains 165 pages.
