This lot includes three mid-1800's, large-format privately-bound volumes of sheet music. Bound in stiff navy cloth-covered boards, this antique collection is a unique compilation of early sheet music. As was often an aristocratic custom during the 1800's, these books were created at the specific request of the owner, by a private bindery. Favorite selections were presented to the binder who created the handsome, custom volumes. This compilation includes many striking, decorative color title pages. The volumes show some external age/wear, are securely bound and have bright pages with a small amount of scattered foxing/marks. The books measure approximately 10" x 13.25". Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $10.50
