This auction lot includes the following group of correspondence and ephemera that was exchanged between violin collector Percy Ott and various violin manufacturers, authors, etc.:

1. Bill of Sale dated 1965 for a viola made by Jeffery J. Gilbert, Peterborough, England 1912. Signed by John Logan, Chicago.
2. Original letterhead of Isaak Vigdorchik Violins, Jackson Heights, NY - 1985. Signature of Isaak Vigdorchik. Letter refers to a book written by Vigdorchik.
3. Original letterhead of Jacques Camurat, Paris - dated 1960 - certifying a Stefano Scarampella violin of 1877. Signature of Jacques Camurat. Letter is in French.
4. Paperwork (copies) dated 1966 between:
L.P. Balmforth and Son, Leeds (England?) referencing a violin made by Paul Bailly (1880).
Fritz Reuter and sons, Chicago. 1971 referencing same Paul Bailly violin.
5. Original letterhead of Paul Voigt, violin maker, Londer, dated 1968. Referring to Knopf violin book. Signature of Paul Voigt.
6. Dozens of letters between Percy Ott and Randolph T. Faulkner of Delaware. Faulkner is the author of at least one violin book.
